OFA Temecula Post

To all OFA Temecula members:

From now on you will be able to email me at OFATemecula.Volunteer@gmail.com.  All future emails will also originate from this email address.  Please add it to your contact list in whatever email program you use so I don't end up in your spam folder.  I hate it in there.  Anyhow, I am sending this email from OFA Temecula's Team Leader's email (Dave Garner) so that you know that this email address is legitimate and official.

You can contact me about anything or any question, but my main job is to handle all of the volunteers in conjunction with different events and projects that OFA Temecula hosts or is involved in.

A status update for this Saturday, March 27th:

We have only had a few people sign up for the canvassing event.  This is an important event to recruit new members and register people to vote in the upcoming primary election on June 8th.  You may ask 'why the urgency?'.  The answer is simple:

Elections are not won or lost in October or November; they are won or lost in April and May.  Simply, this means that those who organize and get to work the earliest, have the best chance of winning.  Like I said before, The time is now!

That being said, who can help us win in November by helping us this Saturday?  Dave and I will both be there to show you how to canvass.  Think of it as on the job training.  Remember to email your responses back to me at OFATemecula.Volunteer@gmail.com.  This is my new email address.

Thank you for your support and hard work,

Tighe Jaffe
Volunteer Coordinator
OFA Temecula
